フユ山椒オイル
Zanthoxylum Oil
学名：Zanthoxylum
amatum
ザントキシラムオイルは、乾燥させたザントキシラム（フユザンショウ）の実を
水蒸気蒸留することにより得られるオイルです。
ザントキシラムとはマハバラット地区の標高1500m~2400ｍのヒマラヤ山脈付近に
見られる低木の植物です。樹皮はコルクのような香りで、枝は鋭い棘に覆われています。
この地方、ネパール全土でも”ティムル”と呼ばれ栽培もされています。
＊リナロオールに富み、リモネン、ケイ皮酸メチル、シネオール含有で香料や芳香剤として使用されます。＊アロマセラピーでは抗感染活性効果、鎮痛効果、関節炎、コレラ、歯痛などへの効果が期待できます。
The
essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the dried fruits of zanthoxylum
armatum D.C. Its vernacular name is Timur which is found in Mahabharat region
between 1500 – 2400m. and it is also cultivated. It is a thorny shrub or small
tree with corky bark and strong pricles on the branches.
Uses: (a)
Being rich in linalool, and also containing limonene, methyl cinnamate and
cineole, it is used in the flavor and fragrance industries.

Aromatherapeutic uses: Anti-infectious, sedative, arthritis, cholera, toothache
etc.

ヒマラヤ松オイル
Turpentine oil
学名：Juniperus Indica
ヒマラヤマツに含まれるオレオレジンを水蒸気蒸留
することにより得られるオイルです。
ヒマラヤマツは大きな常緑針葉樹でネパールでは
”ラニサロ” または”コテサロ”などと呼ばれます。
＊パインオイルの人工香料として使用されます。
＊アロマセラピーで期待される効果：リウマチ、坐骨神経痛、痛風
など。
Turpentine oil is obtained by distillation of the oleoresin
tapped from Pinus roxburghii Sargent. It is named as Rani
sallo or khote sallo in Nepal. Rani sallo is a large
evergreen coniferous tree grown between 400 – 2200 m in altitude.Uses: (a) In perfumery, for the manufacture of synthetic aroma chemicals and pine oil .(b) In preparations of
insecticides, disinfectants.(c) In Pharmaceuticals, as a
counter irritant and rubefacient and as a base for massage preparations.

レモングラスオイル
Lemongrass Oil

レモングラスオイルはレモングラスのしなびた葉を

学名：Mentha arvensis
このオイルはコーンミント（ハッカ）の根以外の部分を
水蒸気蒸留して作ります。
コーンミントは、ネパールの亜熱帯に生息する香りの
良い多年生植物です。

This oil is obtained by steam distillation of the aerial part of Mentha arvensis L. It is commonly called Japanese mint. It is aromatic perennial herb grown in sub-tropical climatic zone of Nepal. Palmarosa Oil
学名：Cymbopogon martinii
パルマローザオイルはイネ科オガルカヤ属植物の切りたての花を使用して作られます。
パルマローザは、ネパールの亜熱帯に生息する背が高く

ユーカリの葉や枝を水蒸気蒸留することで作られます。
ネパール語では一般的に“マサラ”と呼ばれるユーカリは
厚みがあり腺点のある葉が特徴の常緑樹です。
ネパールの平原でよく栽培される早生樹です。

ネパールでは一般的にドゥピと呼ばれ高度3,700～4,500mのヒマラヤ高山に生息する小さな群生植物です。
